Biography

Blake Hamilton is a Counsel in the firm’s Cross-Border Asset Tracing group who joined Whitfield & Crane from a leading payments processor. He focuses on following misappropriated funds through shell companies and nominee accounts. led complex tracing investigations across borders.

He advises clients across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. He is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.

Blake is a graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Tufts University, where he served on the law review. He writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
