Biography
Cameron Reid is a Counsel in the firm’s Business Email Compromise & Wire Fraud group who joined Whitfield & Crane from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. He focuses on 48-hour wire recalls, freezes and banking liability claims. built the intelligence behind judgments and injunctions across three continents.
He advises clients across Europe and the Gulf region and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. He is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.
Cameron is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and Northwestern University, where he served on the law review. He writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
