Biography
Edward Hale is a Partner in the firm’s Regulatory & Compliance Defense group who joined Whitfield & Crane from the FBI Cyber Division. He focuses on SEC and DOJ defense and anti-fraud program design. helped freeze accounts in over a dozen jurisdictions.
He advises clients across the United States, Europe and Asia and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. He is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.
Edward is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley School of Law and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he served on the law review. He writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
