Biography
Jonathan Brooks is a Partner in the firm’s Digital Asset & Crypto Fraud group who joined Whitfield & Crane from the FBI Cyber Division. He focuses on on-chain tracing, exchange hacks and token-scam recovery. built the intelligence behind judgments and injunctions across three continents.
He advises clients across Europe and the Gulf region and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. He is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.
Jonathan is a graduate of New York University School of Law and Barnard College, where he served on the law review. He writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
