Biography

Lucas Avery is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Fraud Prevention Advisory group who joined Whitfield & Crane from an international investigations firm. He focuses on fraud-resilient controls and board-level governance. helped freeze accounts in over a dozen jurisdictions.

He advises clients across the United States, Europe and Asia and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. He is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.

Lucas is a graduate of New York University School of Law and University of Southern California, where he served on the law review. He writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
