Biography
Marcus Reed is a Partner in the firm’s Fraud Prevention Advisory group who joined Whitfield & Crane from a leading payments processor. He focuses on fraud-resilient controls and board-level governance. led complex tracing investigations across borders.
He advises clients across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. He is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.
Marcus is a graduate of University of Southern California Gould School of Law and Cornell University, where he served on the law review. He writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
