Biography
Margaret leads the firm’s Digital Asset & Cyber Fraud practice. Before joining Whitfield & Crane she ran cyber investigations for a global cryptocurrency exchange, where she built the playbook for tracing on-chain flows after exchange hacks, rug pulls and wallet thefts.
Margaret reads blockchains the way litigators read transcripts. She has identified, frozen and recovered assets across Bitcoin, Ethereum and dozens of alt-chain ecosystems, and she regularly testifies as an expert on on-chain forensics.
A certified blockchain investigator, Margaret publishes the firm’s quarterly Digital Fraud Landscape report, tracking emerging scam typologies across major chains.
