Biography

Ming Zhang is a Of Counsel in the firm’s Cross-Border Asset Tracing group who joined Whitfield & Crane from the FBI Cyber Division. He focuses on following misappropriated funds through shell companies and nominee accounts. built the intelligence behind judgments and injunctions across three continents.

He advises clients across Europe and the Gulf region and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. He is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.

Ming is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Emory University, where he served on the law review. He writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
