Robert is a former Special Agent with the FBI Cyber Division, where he worked extortion, ransomware and cryptocurrency-money-laundering investigations for over a decade. At Whitfield & Crane he leads the cyber-response practice: breach triage, extortion negotiation strategy, and litigation against threat actors and their financial enablers.

Robert speaks the language of both the boardroom and the dark web, and his incident-response experience means clients get a lawyer who has already seen how the attack ends.

He maintains active Top Secret clearance and advises government contractors on cyber-fraud exposure.
