Biography
Victoria Mercer is a Partner in the firm’s Cybercrime & Ransomware Response group who joined Whitfield & Crane from a Big Four forensic practice. She focuses on extortion response, breach triage and litigation against threat actors. secured freezing orders in some of the fastest response times on record.
She advises clients across North America and Europe and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. She is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.
Victoria is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Northwestern University, where she served on the law review. She writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
