Winifred Bancroft is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Fraud Litigation & Recovery group who joined Whitfield & Crane from a Fortune 100 corporate investigations team. She focuses on civil fraud, RICO claims and judgment enforcement against scam operators. recovered funds in matters spanning five continents.

She advises clients across the United States and Canada and works with the firm’s investigators and forensic accountants to move from first report to first freeze as quickly as the facts allow. She is admitted in New York and regularly coordinates matters with local counsel worldwide.

Winifred is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Carnegie Mellon University, where she served on the law review. She writes and speaks frequently on fraud trends and is a member of the firm’s 24-hour incident-response desk.
